SPIRITUAL
HEALING
Spiritual Healing is a complementary therapy and comes
under the umbrella of the Confederation of Healing
Associations – a professional body set up to protect
the needs of the healer, the patient, and the Organisations
to which the practitioner may belong.
I qualified as a Spiritual Healer in 1992 through the
National Federation of Spiritual Healers. Further study
helped me achieve status as an accredited healer with the
Spiritualist’s National Union in 1994, more recently
with the World Federation of Healing and with the
International Church and Healing Fellowship. I’m also
versed in metaphysical healing and
counselling.
As a Healer, I’m very aware that we are only
catalysts for those seeking to be healed. Those who suffer
in mind, body and/spirit come for healing when they feel
either ostracised by the Medical profession for one reason
or another, or when they become curious, wanting to
experience something different, or when they become
disillusioned with orthodox medicine.
All healing comes from God therefore it’s important
to understand that as healing channels we must not promise
a cure, nor diagnose, nor offer advice about medication or
treatment. Spiritual Healing is a complementary NOT an
alternative therapy. We seek to work ALONGSIDE the Medical
Profession in a complementary capacity to orthodox
medicine/treatment and not be seen as an alternative to
that medicine/treatment.
All Healing Organisations set out a strict code of conduct
in this respect and one to which we must adhere. We
recognise and respect such criteria.
As a reputable healer I would actively encourage a patient
to discuss the possibility of Spiritual Healing with their
Doctor. We recommend this in the light of holistic practice
becoming of increasing interest to the medical profession.
If you seek the advice of a healer and are advised to stop
any treatment or medication you are currently taking,
please do not accept an offer of healing. The healer would
not be complying with the Code of Conduct set out as a
guideline for all concerned.
